Calendar Year 2010 Was A Banner Year For Our Book Sales.  Below Are The Results Of Efforts Made By Our Book Sale Committee:

FOR A WHOPPING TOTAL OF   $87,200.16

Cleaning House? As you run across books you no longer need, please box them up and bring them to any Henderson library. Your donated books are a great source for the library. From July, 2009 through June, 2011, donated books valued at over $300,000 were placed on the shelves. Books not placed on the shelves are sold at Friends bookstores, Amazon sales and/or our monthly book sales.  In addition, books are often donated to organizations for the homeless, hospitals, senior centers, etc.

If you are unable to drop off your used books, call the library at 492-6592 and
arrangements will be made to pick them up.

Book Sale

Used books are for sale daily at the Paseo Verde Library, the Green Valley Library and the Gibson Library.
In addition, weekend book sales are conducted monthly, alternating between these branches.

Monthly Book Sale

Members of Friends of Henderson Libraries
will be granted admittance 30 minutes before the general public on the first day
of the sale. Usually, the first day is on a Thursday and the library opens to the general public
at 9:30 a.m. This means Friends can enter at 9:00 a.m.
