Cleaning House? As you run across books you've already read or no longer need, please box them up and bring them to any Henderson library. Your donated books are a great source for the library. From July, 2006 through June, 2007, donated books valued at over $140,000 were placed on the shelves. In addition, books are often donated to organizations for the homeless, hospitals, senior centers, etc.

Here are the addresses of the drop off sites:

If you are unable to drop off your used books, call the library at 492-6592 and arrangements will be made to pick them up.

Book Sale

Used books are for sale at the Paseo Verde Library, the Gibson Library and the Malcolm Library. In addition, weekend book sales are conducted monthly, alternating between all three libraries. Call 492-6592 for additional information regarding these sales.

Extra Benefits for Friends

Members of Friends of Henderson Libraries
will be granted admittance 30 minutes before the general public on the first day
of the sale. Usually, the first day is on a Friday and the library opens to the general public
at 9:00 a.m. This means Friends can enter at 8:30 a.m.
